Hey 202!

Today's online discussion was a BANG! To the rest who couldn't make it for the discussion, here is the brief outline of what we did.

We decided to split the classbook into 3 parts:
1) Our class (this will include our names, nicknames, etc.)
2) 202 Random Facts about 202
3) Space for teacher's/classmate's notes

So, if you've noticed, we need to write down TWO HUNDRED AND TWO awesome/random things about 202! We need help for that! For now, we have 67 things... So we need another 135! (Pardon me if my math is wrong.)

Lastly, we're having another online meeting tonight. You guys can tell us about the other random things tonight on msn. (please try not to send us alot of emails regarding it because it will cause our computers to hang. thank you!) Our online meeting is from 10pm - 11.30 pm tonight! :D Try to make it for tonight's meeting! :D

Hey 202!!!

Sorry for the disappointment, but we're moving the classbook meeting date to friday, because:

1) We want to discuss more about the classbook online tomorrow, so that we can be more efficient. That's right! We're having an online meeting from 10.30am -12.30pm tomorrow (9th nov), where we will discuss more about the specifics of the classbook and delegate work, so that we can work much faster on friday.

2) We're not very sure if the computer lab's open. During tomorrow's discussion, we will check if the computer lab is open. If not, we will move the location to somewhere else, e.g. someone's house, coffee bean or macdonald's.

For now, there are two things to note:

1) We're having an online meeting from from 10.30am -12.30pm tomorrow (9th nov). Please be there; we will be talking about what we want (exactly) to be in the classbook and we will be delegating work to be done before friday. It'll be fun having mass conversations!!!

Please tell me (by leaving a tag here, or msn-ing me, or sms-ing me by 9pm tonight) if you can make it for the online meeting tomorrow. WHETHER YOU CAN MAKE IT OR NOT, PLEASE INFORM ME (ME BEING XINYI). If more than half of us can't make it, we will reschedule the meeting on tuesday/wednesday, at the same time. If there are few who can't make it, we will update the few on our whole discussion so you guys won't feel lost. :D

2) We're meeting up after school on friday, 13th november (and no let's not get superstition in our way! :D), 11pm - 4pm. This timeframe is tentative; if we need more time, we will extend the meeting by an hour or two.

HELLO ALL HAPPY 202-LOVING NANYANG GIRLS, (quoted from mrtiong)

These 2 years had passed by fast, faster than we want, faster than we had expected. I'm sure that all of us have LOUSY memory. Even if we have, with IH, Geog, History (and not to forget), Bio, who would still have space in the brains for other stuff. Of course, the time spent in 102'08/202'09 is so precious, so memorable that we would remember it. BUT, we might not remember ALL the stuff, or VIVIDLY what has happened.

So we're making a classbook for everyone in the class! In case you dunno what a classbook is, just think along this line... yearbook... classbook... Basically, we are compiling photos, funny moments and many many more. But just the few of us is not enough! We need the help of more 202 ppl (around 5) to help us! We (eleen xinyi michelle) will be meeting at Nanyang next Monday at 9.30 a.m.! If you are interested in making, JUST JOIN US! But unfortunately, this might need $$ *KACHINGKACHING* for printing and all. (it will be around $1 - $2). :D

Lastly, 202 has been a bang! Thank you for the memories and let's make sure the memories don't fade away! :D

We have previously discussed about Class BBQ! Here are the details!

Date: 22 November 2009 (Sunday) *EVERYONE CAN MAKE IT ON THIS DAY! YAY!*
Time: ~5.30pm but you can come early to prepare/play i guess.
Venue: We are still trying to get a venue. Eliz might not be able to get so people who can TRY to get please help us! :D
People: 202!
*OH! please tell us what you are allergic to, what you cannot eat, etc.*

If successful, this might be the last time 202 will be together. Hopefully, everyone can make it and run our last lap together as a class! :D

Also, JIAYOU for drama. i think our play was really really cool. The pubilicity part was cool! :D Yay Ellen and co. for thinking up the new idea!! The previous puppet idea was really cool too! We ought to thank Eleen and Xinyi for using up much brain juices to come up with such a creative idea. if not, our intro might just be a plain reading of the sypnosis. :D

The new scene added was super cool! *ahhh my limited range of vocab!* the intensity kept on rising and rising and reached its climax at the last scene (WHICH WAS COOL TOO!) haha. In conclusion, our play is really cool! JIAYOU 202 for our finals on thurs! :D

Recently (maybe due to dramafest) , i have been feeling rather classtriotic (root word=patriotic). I felt that there had been a rise in classionalism. Maybe it's post-EOYs sydrome. I thought of something related to class 202 and chemistry! One day, after feeling absolutely bored, i made this.

Oxygen Molecule.

The chemical formula for an oxygen molecule is 'O2' ! so if we add a '2' , it would be 2 O2! 2 of such oxygen molecules will give you a total number of 32 electrons (heart-shaped ones). Each heart-shaped electron will represent each and everyone of us plus our beloved form and co-form teacher! :D

Nitrogen Molecule.

The chemical formula for nitrogen molecule is N2! Thesum of the number of electrons in oxygen molecule and the number of valence electrons in nitrogen molecule is 30! It's as though 202 is fated to have 30 people, as though 202 is fated to be (like the nitrogen molecule) oh-so-enthu.

Next year, our class will be separated. but i hope everyone will still be able to recall the precious memories with 202 years down the road. (:

Hey there! I was e-mailing Weelin and Sandra + CC-ing to Eleen and myself just now about Geog stuff. Shall put it here too 'cos methinks it's really useful :D Here's what I wrote in the e-mail:

"Hey there! (Wah like deja vu leh, keep Hey there!-ing -.-)

Today during Geography, Mrs Amy erm, talked for 20mins (yay I win) and then for the remaining time, she did a quick revision with us. Here are some things that I noted down during the lesson:

[Weather & Climate]
1. Know the difference between weather and climate.
2. Know how to interpret climograph.
3. Do note where/how stevenson screen, rain gauge etc should be sited.
4. WON'T TEST US ON CLOUD PATTERNS during Blocktest. EOY then maybe have.
5. Can look up the textbook for more details on how weather and climate affect us.

[Natural Vegetation]
1. Do note the difference between primary and secondary vegetation.
2. Know how to compare characteristics between 2 vegetations.
***Download and print the more comprehensive notes on characteristics of natural vegetation in table format from LMS! (Mrs Amy will upload it latest by this Friday.)
-> Do learn how to make comparisons in such a way that the two points compared have a common basis. (eg. Compare the thick buttress roots in tropical rainforests to the thin deep roots in hot deserts)
-> Note that some vegetation may have similar characteristics in some ways, but the characteristics may be for different purposes.

3. Do revise through not only PPT handouts, but also worksheets... assignments... workbook... etc.
4. When they say the vegetation is luxurious, it means that it have a lot of different species of plants growing in abundance together. Something like that la, haha :)

In order to be fair, and because of the current circumstances, as long as there is one person who isn't keen on the class tee we shouldn't be doing it. LD and FT made it quite clear already, we can't force anyone. I hope you don't blame anyone for it cause it's really self-preference.

Let's think on the bright side. It wouldn't feel good if it's only our class (and perhaps 208) with a class tee this year, cause even our allies couldn't get it. Nevermind the fact that last year's didn't work out, I mean hey, at least we have one, and at least it's really comfortable.

Should have done the private voting earlier, I know, so at least we wouldn't have to gone through all the trouble/wasted effort etc. On my part I shall just say that I fought really really hard for you guys, so I'm sorry to disappoint the majority who are enthusiastic about it. Haha okay concentrate on the night trail, jiayou bah.

Hello 202. The supplier has decided to do a new design for us FOC. (: Anyone against it? Obviously I will go through the design with you girls and get it approved by Mrs Wong, but it's okay if we don't get to design it ourselves.. right?

And honestly, I find fast and techno-ish blog songs rather irritating. And also reading some of the entries, I feel that it's very important to stay bonded as a class. Remember to win the talentime k, like we did last year. Okay firstly the class tee wasn't approved, for three reasons.

1) NYGH logo was too small.
2) She didn't like the idea of the poker cards.
3) ...All shirts not sent for printing yet won't be approved.

CONGRATS TO 202 FOR GETTING AN A IN CLEANLINESS FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!

yay!! :D haha everyone was so happy after knowing about this news! but of course, we cannot forget the people who spent so much effort and time and breath keeping our classroom spotless! :D

firstly, of course, the two cleanliness i/cs!! REGINE AND JIALE!!!! YAY!! you great cleanliness ics!! you really did a great job! haha! really a good start for the first cleanliness check for the year! we 202 will continue doing our duties, won't we?

secondly, i think cheryl's idea of the finish-your-duty-and-tick-beside-your-name kind of 'attendance' list is a really good one! it really ensures that each and everyone do our duties! so thanks cheryl for the brilliant idea!

thirdly, our form teachers and co-form teachers! mrs amy lim and ms sabrina! for giving us time to clear up all the rubbish and mess in class during contact times! THANKS FOR GIVING US THE SPARE TIME! :D

and of course, lastly, THE WHOLE OF 202!! for being responsible and doing their duties! even if we're very busy and everything! so 202 must continue to keep up the good work kays? and stay more united!!

Hello twotwo, I've changed the class blogskin. Would like to thank Cheryl for doing up the temporary one, must have taken alot of time and effort. :D

If you scroll down a little for this one, you can see that the background colour thing is abit weird. I have no idea how to alter it so I guess we have to just stick with it. Unless you guys want a change of blogskin again.. & regarding the music, I don't know if anyone finds it annoying and wants to remove it. I fine with either, cause it's a good song.

haha just found a when you believe choir which i think is exactly the same as ours. they're good! cause remember during the last music lesson i think the very high note, we were kinda out of tune! but this choir was not bad!

remember the hamper wrapping competition? nobody wanted to go and wu lao shi randomnly picked cheryl to be in charge. even so, WE WON!!! WE WON THE FIRST PRIZE!! YAY!!! (last year we won 2nd, after 101'08)

and of course, this prize will never me ours if not for the three people who went to wrap it! they are.... *drumroll* CHERYL, MICHELLE AND ELIZABETH!! while we're all busy with projects, homeworks and cca, they were willing to take out time to go wrap the hamper, and even did us proud!! YAY!! THANK YOU!!!! FOR DOING 202 PROUD!

Jiayou 202! Zomg stupid expo essay, apparently everyone in 202 that is online is trying to cut it down as much as possible... Actually some of us gave up upon reaching like 370-380 like me so well. Nevermind!

Changing class blogskin this weekend I suppose! I hope you guys will like it teehee it's not within the six choices, but yupyup. & these are the people who will be designing the class tee kay: Shichun, Cheryl, Sandra and maybe Cherie if she wants to!

So our colour is black, and the wordings will be lime green. Some people suggested voting on the collared/round-neck thing again though, so... well! :D
